Yes, Buffy came to the Anvil Theater Basingstoke, 24th Jan 2010. She was just great and I met with them after the show. Unfortunately I got no photos, but did get her autograph along with some chat. Met up with Colin and Paula there also. A very memorable evening

Her website can be found here http://www.creative-native.com/

She has a very recent album out called running for the drum . It has an accompaning DVD which tells her story which is wonderful.

Spiritualy Dead ?

I am no 'spring chicken' and the years just fly by so fast. I spoke with a guy this morning in the supermarket as we waited to be served, and on his T shirt he had an amusing picture of those old boys in the muppets . It also had the words 'grumpy old geezers'. Well we had a laugh about it and then as the young check out girl tried to overcharge me, I felt irritated and it dawned on me that yes, at times I must be a grumpy old geezer. But then I used to watch the TV show 'Grumpy Old Men' and found myself agreeing with everything being discussed.

The thing is I see the country (UK, well... England) I inhabit has become so dumbed down,where celebrity and status seems to be All that matters. Along side this we have the compansation culture that drives fear into any organiser or local authority hearts, stiffling creativity. Compound this with political correctness and the snobbery here and it feels well , not good at all really. And yes Spiritualy Dead.

waking up again

Posted by eagledancer on June 24, 2009 at 12:49 PM Comments comments (0)

I admit that I have had this site for years now and I have gone through all the ups and downs that life can throw at me. There has been a lack of activity that is beginning to change as I wake up again to my destiny. You see I have been a very reluctant follower of my sacred path and that is because I have been wanting to retreat to my comfort zone and guess what there isn't one. I was warned by someone, proberbly a message from spirit that having found this path I cannot turn back!! Well I have been trying so hard to turn back that it was driving me mad. This path is very challenging and if we resist it will persist. I am getting back into the flow of accepting who, where and what I am. I have issues that need healing too.

drum assisted meditation

I am very pleased with the meditation last night and the way it worked out. Everyone had a frame drum and we all got ouselves into a relaxed state by opening with a gentle drum beat after the space was cleansed. The drumbeat provided the rhythm for the journey through the chakras. Once open I took over the drumming for a visualisation to help with the inner journey to the silence. After a good while the drum brought everyone back for the closing of the chakras and we all finished by playing ouselves completely back and refreshed.

For me it felt very powerful and most of the participants enjoyed it.

return to the 'sacred'

Thats right it is time to return to a path that is helpful to the planet and to others. These is my own feelings about where I am at at this time.

The summer solstice is passed and after a challenging time this year I am returning with a renewed sense of purpose. I attended a small ceremony last night and felt moved to waste no more time and to get on with my work. It is all too easy to be reluctant to continue as sometimes it begins to feel one is only part of a small proportion of people that actually understand what I do.

I have resolved to navagate past the ignorant and keep my eye on the journey itself. With that said there are some events announced and a good few being planned. I hope that the changes to the site are positive for you all

Ok it,s been far too long since I last commented here on well anything. Sometimes I have to admit I am not that inspired to write but quite a lot has happened and one of them is the project that is both Gwyneth's and mine and is called the Temple of Eartha. It takes the work we are both involved in and puts it together quite nicely. Here is a link to our new website  http://temple-of-eartha.com  . We have already had an open day at the Viables and used both the education room and our new SoulPad to talk and demonstrate our work. We had some great feedback about the SoulPad and the space created within it. So here is a pic of it and you will also find it in the new photo gallery
